Terms & Conditions

  1. The promotion will run from 6am on 23 April to 11.59pm on 11 May 2025.
  2. The promotion is open to all Metropolitan Rewards Card holders who update their marketing preferences to opt-in when visiting Alea Glasgow, Alea Nottingham, Manchester 235, The Empire and The Sportsman, during the promotional period.
  3. All Metropolitan Reward customers who update any marketing preference in venue, will receive a £5 cash match voucher to use in venue.
  4. Metropolitan Rewards Card holders (existing or new customers during the promotion) who opt into email preferences during the promotional period, will additionally be eligible to receive a £5 free bet voucher, via email.
  5. Email opt-ins; vouchers will be emailed to the contact details provided, up to 72 hours after their details have been changed.
  6. Customers may only receive one £5 free bet voucher and one £5 cash match voucher, during the promotional period.
  7. Should customers subsequently opt out of communications before the voucher is sent, they may not receive a voucher; vouchers cannot be issued retrospectively.
  8. Vouchers are not transferable and there is no cash alternative.
  9. A free bet voucher can only be redeemed at Cash Desk and not directly on the tables.
  10. The voucher can be exchanged for either a non-negotiable chip to be used on tables, or a promotional ticket to be used on Slots or Electronics.
  11. Non-negotiable chips are valid until lost and cannot be exchanged for wheel or cash chips. The winning element of the pay-out will be paid in cash chips. No partnership betting is allowed.
  12. Cash match vouchers are valid until the 31 May 2025.
  13. Valid for use on Blackjack, Roulette, Slots or Electronics.
  14. On tables, a bet of the same value must be placed at the table with the voucher. Vouchers are withheld once used and winnings are paid out as usual.
  15. Blackjack – voucher can only be used on one hand unless the outcome is a standoff, where the voucher will be returned. Does not include any side bets.
  16. Roulette – valid for a single even chance bet on roulette. Voucher can only be used on one spin.
  17. On Slots and Electronics, the voucher must be presented to the main Cash Desk with the same value bet as detailed on the voucher.
  18. Slots and Electronics – all promotional funds must be staked before cashing out.
  19. The Promoter is not responsible for any vouchers that are incomplete, misdirected, late, lost, damaged or stolen and these will not be replaced. Photocopies or reprints will not be accepted. Entry constitutes acceptance by the entrant of these terms and conditions.
  20. Leisure tier customers are excluded from participating in the opt-in promotional activity.
  21. Entry constitutes acceptance by the entrant of these terms and conditions.
  22. Any complaints or disputes should be brought to the immediate attention of Venue Management for resolution.
  23. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion at any time. If participants have already met the qualifying criteria for the promotion, they will be entitled to participate in the promotion on the terms entered, (subject to any expiry or other terms contained in these terms) and entitled to any benefits associated with the promotion.
  24. Employees of the Promoter, their agents, families, or household members are prohibited from participating in this promotion.
  25. Disregard or failure to meet any of these terms may result in the management cancelling prizes.
