Every Bigger Wednesday tournament in January, along with the July Manchester 10K, counts towards the league, with points awarded for top-nine finishes. Higher finishing positions earn more points, with first place receiving nine points down to one point for ninth. League standings are displayed at the Poker Desk and updated throughout the month. At the end of the month the top nine league standings will progress to the playoff. Where point totals are tied, this may result in more than nine players qualifying.

The top nine league standings will be invited to a free-to-enter playoff final on Sunday 2 August, starting at 7pm.
Each player will receive a 10,000 starting stack, with 20-minute blind levels played in a freeze-out format. Tournament rules apply and the Tournament Director’s decision is final.

1. The promotion will run from 1st July - 4th October inclusive (“the Promotional Period”) and is open to Metropolitan Rewards Card Members only.
2. Monthly leader board eligibility periods will operate on a calendar-month basis as follows:
a. July leader board: 1st – 31st July 2026
b. August leader board: 1st – 31st August 2026
c. September leader board: 1st – 30th September 2026
3. Playoff tournaments will take place at 7pm on the following dates:
a. July Playoff: Sunday 2nd August 2026
b. August Playoff: Sunday 6th September 2026
c. September Playoff: Sunday 4th October 2026
4. The leader board will operate on a calendar-month basis, commencing on the first day of each month and concluding on the final day of that month. Points accumulated during a calendar month will apply only to that month’s leader board and will not be carried over to subsequent months.
5. The top nine (9) finishing players in each Bigger Wednesday and Manchester 10K tournament during each calendar month will be awarded leader board points as follows:
1st place – 9 points
2nd place – 8 points
3rd place – 7 points
4th place – 6 points
5th place – 5 points
6th place – 4 points
7th place – 3 points
8th place – 2 points
9th place – 1 point
6. League standings will be displayed at the Poker Desk following the first qualifying tournament of each month and will be updated throughout the Promotional Period.
7. The top nine (9) league standings with the highest total points following the Manchester 10K tournament in each calendar month will be invited to participate in a free-to-enter playoff tournament. In the event of tied scores, all tied players will be included.
8. Eligible players will be notified of their qualification via the Poker Desk and/or direct communication prior to the playoff tournament.
9. Each qualifying player must register at the Poker Desk no later than one (1) hour after the scheduled start time of the playoff tournament at 7:00pm.
10. Any tournament stacks allocated to registered players who fail to attend will be removed from play at the end of Level 3.
11. Each player will receive a 10,000-chip starting stack. The playoff tournament will operate on a freeze-out format with 20-minute blind levels.
12. The winner of each monthly playoff tournament will receive the following prize. No cash alternative will be available:
a. July Playoff: 2 tickets to an Evening with James Martin in September (value £330)
b. August Playoff: TBC
c. September Playoff: TBC
13. All Metropolitan Gaming poker tournaments are governed by the Tournament Rules displayed in the Poker Room and are available upon request.
14. The Tournament Director’s decision is final in all matters relating to the promotion and tournaments.
15. Entry into the promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
16. Any complaints or disputes must be brought to the immediate attention of Venue Management for resolution.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or withdraw the promotion at any time. Where participants have already met the qualifying criteria, they will be entitled to participate under the terms entered (subject to any expiry or other conditions contained herein) and to receive any benefits already earned.
18. Employees of the Promoter, its agents, and their immediate family or household members are prohibited from participating in this promotion.
19. Failure to comply with any of these Terms & Conditions may result in disqualification and/or forfeiture of prizes at Management’s discretion.
